Administer our risk insurance program called Subcontract Default Insurance (SDI)
Review, evaluate, prepare reports on financial assessment, and approve qualification submissions from subcontractors
Analyze insurance requirements and develop cost-optimization strategies while ensuring appropriate coverage in the bidding process
Assist in developing project-specific risk mitigation plans as applicable
Assist in subcontractor outreach and meet with them as needed
Prepare reports on prequalification status, subcontractor utilization, and others as required
Administer insurance claims and coordinate with the project teams in compiling and submitting insurance claims

2+ years of experience in an office environment
College degree in accounting, an asset
Organized and detail oriented with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines
Strong customer service skills, comfortable and effective with telephone and email outreach with subcontractors
Team player with effective interpersonal skills
Exceptional problem-solving abilities and professional judgment
Exposure to financial statements is considered an asset
