About this role
Role Overview
- Drive infrastructure automation for configuration management of 2,000+ VMs and 600+ on-premises servers.
- Collaborate with global teams (AMER, EMEA, and APAC) on security, networking, and platform standards.
- Implement GitOps practices for deployments and drift management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal customers and product stakeholders.
- Work with technical project managers and product management teams to define and plan multiple projects.
- Participate in on-call shifts with clear processes and support.
Requirements
- Strong experience managing on-premises Linux-based server infrastructure at scale with configuration management tools such as Puppet, Ansible.
- Strong experience with Proxmox and/or VMware.
- Experience with Kubernetes.
- Experience working with distributed systems.
- Familiarity with observability tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
- Deep proficiency in Linux systems.
- Experience with virtualization and containerization (e.g. QEMU, KVM, LXC, Docker).
- Experience with networking and routing is desirable.
- Experience with secrets management processes and tooling, such as HashiCorp Vault.
- Experience with CI/CD tooling (e.g. ArgoCD, Argo Rollouts, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
