About this role
Role Overview
- Contribute to product modularity and standardization across engineering designs
- Manage and maintain product codes, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and related documentation
- Control and optimize product costs, supporting cost-reduction initiatives
- Support product strategy and the development of customer-facing features
- Lead phase-in/phase-out activities for product codes and ensure smooth transitions
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Management, Operations, and other departments to align engineering activities with business goals, as well as product development teams to design or adapt solutions
- Utilize CAD tools for design and documentation, as well as SAP for product data management and process integration
- Support and monitor activities in the manufacturing plant, gaining understanding of production processes to ensure product feasibility and quality
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field)
- Fluency in English
- Proven experience in a manufacturing or product development environment within structured organizations
- Experience in technical design, product coding, and product lifecycle management
- Familiarity with CAD tools and SAP
- Previous experience in laboratory activities, testing, and prototyping is considered a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage diverse technical challenges
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Availability to travel frequently, especially during the initial onboarding period
