Perform strategic leadership and oversight of data management staff
Direct performance, security, and scalability of enterprise data environments
Establish strategic roadmap for database and data warehouse services
Establish governance structures, policies, and standards for data management and architecture
Collaborate with senior leadership to align data initiatives with business objectives
Oversee administration of enterprise databases

Bachelor’s degree and three (3) years of experience in database administration, data warehousing, or data engineering.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Must reside within North Carolina.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, Data Communications, Engineering, Business, or similar disciplines (preferred).
Master’s degree in relevant field (preferred).
Supervision of two (2) or more employees (preferred).
Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) (preferred).
Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Data Analytics, Azure Data Engineer), or equivalent certifications will be accepted (preferred).
