Overseeing and directing all consumer and indirect loan funding activities across the credit union.
Leading a team of funders while actively participating in funding functions to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant loan disbursements.
Managing funding workflows, service level agreements (SLAs), and queue prioritization to ensure optimal turnaround times and high-quality member experience.
Optimizing processes to impact member service outcomes, providing compliance oversight, and completing performance management responsibilities.
Reinforcing adherence to policies including fraud prevention and verification procedures.
Monitoring individual and team productivity, quality, and service metrics.
Contributing to company innovation and continuous improvement.
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum five years’ (5) experience in a consumer lending role with escalated authority and funding experience, required.
Prior supervisory experience required, preferably in a lending environment.
Experience with indirect lending channels (dealer networks, CUDL) strongly preferred.
Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision, independently managing a complex pipeline of loans to be funded.
Proven success meeting or exceeding individual and organizational professional goals.
Demonstrate ability to effectively work at a fast pace and in a changing environment.
Ability to communicate effectively with credit union staff and external support partners, including dealers and dealer representatives.
Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
Must be proficient in common office computer programs (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Origence Arc OS and similar).
