Provides leadership, supervision, and coordination of patient care staff.
Coordinates patient services with physicians and staff.
Reviews, assists, and promotes the development of policies and procedures.
Assists in preparation and control of department operational budget.
Directs and coordinates activities of staff including performance evaluation.
Provides direct patient care and administers medication as necessary.
Promotes/maintains good public relations with patients and families.
Acts as troubleshooter, contact person, counselor, and interviewer for patient care research.
