SMS Analyst

Role Overview

• Manage the entire process of internal and external assessments and audits;
• Support Unit Management;
• Oversee correction and treatment of management anomalies;
• Create, monitor and measure Unit KPIs;
• Implement process-based management into daily Unit routines;
• Manage the manager’s schedule;
• Oversee employees’ periodic medical examinations;
• Manage employees’ ASO (Occupational Health Certificate) for the Unit;
• Handle infraction notices;
• Update the Tasks Control register;
• Advise and support events such as seminars, workshops and team meetings;
• Support the development of SMS programs and campaigns;
• Provide SMS documentation relevant to service provider companies to the Petrobras requesting area, upon request;
• Support planning and monitoring of Management PAN (Annual Plan);
• Manage the full system of action plans;
• Support implementation of Control and SMS tools;
• Track fulfillment of demands from Strategic Initiatives;
• Manage training processes;
• Update the SMS training matrix;
• Manage training declarations in Petrobras standardization system;
• Prepare materials and minutes for meetings;
• Assist in evaluating critical analysis of Safety results;
• Manage Management’s information on the Petrobras network;
• Collect and analyze data for standardization studies, simplification, work rationalization and process development; prepare studies for process and activity simplification and rationalization;
• Analyze data related to task distribution and workflow, use of forms, controls and other elements, identifying opportunities for organizational improvements;
• Map processes and develop improvement plans to formalize processes, including interviews, modeling and presentations;
• Design, consolidate and analyze surveys to improve execution of management processes and activities;
• Develop initiatives or action plans, including construction of "S-curves" (physical progress) when applicable, aimed at process review;
• Record and register all Unit process initiatives in computerized systems;
• Follow up on actions, control milestones and schedules of initiatives and projects developed by managements;
• Plan and monitor delivery of documentation for initiatives and projects;
• Control revisions and consequent update or cancellation of standards;
• Map the Unit’s value chain processes in current and future states;
• Perform critical analysis of active goods and services contracts in the Unit to assess conditions that may limit process revision proposals;
• Conduct critical analysis of Unit results, evaluating the impact of process revisions for both completed changes and planned changes;
• Prepare presentations and reports related to analysis, implementation and control of Unit processes for critical review meetings;
• Prepare presentations and reports related to analysis, implementation and control of processes for Petrobras Senior Management;
• Draft minutes for meetings on analysis, implementation and process control in the Unit;
• Develop and consolidate automated briefings for the workforce as well as presentations for team meetings, RACs (Critical Review Meetings), management committee meetings and informational meetings for the workforce;
• Provide material for the visual management initiative;
• Prepare presentations for the Unit/management RACs (Critical Review Meetings);
• Control and propose review actions for the EAE of Maintenance and Subsea Inspection services;
• Develop and implement communication plans related to organizational change management;
• Develop and implement change management plans;
• Develop initiatives or action plans, including construction of "S-curves" (physical progress), related to organizational change management;
• Register and control all operational, tactical and strategic initiatives of the Unit in computerized systems related to organizational change management;
• Follow up on actions, control milestones and schedules for initiatives related to organizational change management;
• Prepare content for communications related to reviewed value chain processes;
• Develop and follow up action plans to improve organizational climate and leadership development;
• Support organizational change management within the Unit, promoting other recognized market and academic practices not detailed elsewhere in this Term of Reference;
• Prepare presentations and reports related to organizational change management for the Unit’s critical review meetings;
• Draft minutes for organizational change management meetings in the Unit;
• Develop and conduct organizational climate surveys with teams;
• Support critical analysis of survey results and develop plans and projects to address and improve organizational climate based on results;
• Support implementation of actions and monitor progress of organizational climate improvement plans;
• Develop and monitor onboarding plans and projects for new employees;
• Diagnose and identify development needs for teams and leadership using market-recognized techniques and tools;
• Define behavioral profiles for teams and leadership using market-recognized techniques and tools;
• Develop plans and projects for team and leadership development based on previous items;
• Design and facilitate team and leadership development events using techniques such as group dynamics, questionnaires, behavioral tests and other market-recognized tools and methods;
• Define methods for monitoring and measuring processes, analyze variables that impact product or service, and propose performance indicators for each process, establishing measurement and control tools;
• Calibrate, monitor and critically analyze all existing indicators, indices and/or KPIs to identify root causes of deviations and propose corrective actions;
• Qualify and propose barriers, for example using Bow-tie diagrams, for risks identified in processes;
• Support and advise management in setting indicator targets;
• Handle anomalies related to deviations (failures or inefficiencies) of equipment on vessels serving the Unit;
• Monitor and analyze inoperability of chartered vessels serving the Unit;
• Propose indicators, KPIs or indices according to critical factors of the Unit’s value chain processes;
• Perform sensitivity analysis of fleet sizing against variations in operational parameters;
• Control operational parameters and ensure alignment between them and the EAE through revisions of process standards;
• Prepare presentations for performance, management, strategy and other RACs (Critical Review Meetings);
• Draft minutes for the Unit’s Process, Vessels and Contracts Performance Review meetings;
• Monitor and control financial/accounting/tax indicators linked to contracts and prepare presentations for RACs (Critical Review Meetings).

Requirements

• University degree completed
• Minimum of 3 years’ professional experience after graduation in Occupational Safety Engineering
• Experience working in occupational safety within oil & gas sector companies
