About this role
Role Overview
- Administer SQL Server environments.
- Perform installation, configuration and upgrades of databases.
- Execute backup and restore routines.
- Manage replication processes, Log Shipping and Disaster Recovery (DR).
- Monitor database performance and perform tuning for optimization.
- Ensure availability, integrity and security of database systems.
- Analyze and resolve database-related incidents.
- Support infrastructure and systems projects involving databases.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering, Information Technology or related fields.
- Experience administering SQL Server databases.
- Experience working in highly complex environments with redundancy and high availability.
- Knowledge of backup, restore, replication and database tuning.
- Experience with Oracle and PostgreSQL.
- Holds database-related certifications.
