The professional will be responsible for ensuring the stability, evolution, and legal compliance of the Payroll system in the SAP ECC environment, acting from understanding business requirements to technical implementation and specialized support.
Ensure the stability and performance of the SAP HCM PY (Payroll) module, handling complex tickets, improvements, and roll-out projects or new implementations.
Work extensively on maintaining and creating calculation rules (PCRs) and complex payroll schemas, adapting the system to collective agreements and the company’s internal policies.
Ensure the system’s adherence to Brazilian labor legislation, legal updates, ancillary obligations, and, fundamentally, provide support for eSocial (maintenance, error remediation, and event submission).
Translate HR/Payroll requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications, ensuring efficient and scalable solutions.
Requirements
Solid track record working as an SAP HCM Consultant, with proven focus on the PY submodule (Payroll
Brazil Localization).
Configuration expertise: Deep knowledge in parameterizing schemas, calculation rules, averaging processing, alimony/child support handling, vacations, termination, and 13th salary (thirteenth-month pay).
HCM ecosystem: Good integration with the Personnel Administration (PA), Time Management (PT), and Benefits (BN) submodules.
Corporate experience: Previous experience in large companies (preferably in the industrial, metallurgical, or steel sectors), accustomed to handling high-volume payroll processing and multiple union rules.
eSocial knowledge: Practical experience with the eSocial architecture within SAP, handling inconsistencies and messaging.
