Serve as the primary Flight Management liaison to internal and external customers on the E-2D program, ensuring our flight management development aligns with schedule and requirements
Lead the creation and maintenance of a comprehensive story backlog that outlines all necessary tasks for the full life cycle of development, making a complex project manageable and transparent
Oversee the day-to-day execution of Flight Management scope on the E-2D program
Create and manage Risks and Opportunities for your WBS items
Collaborate across various department agile teams to delegate tasks and track progress, ensuring all objectives are met on time and within budget
Drive the department's contributions to bids and proposals, securing our role on Military Fixed Wing aircraft for years to come
Engage in occasional domestic travel as needed (less than 10%)
Requirements
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
Experience with agile methodologies and their application in large-scale projects
Experience as a Product Owner or Scrum Master
Experience as a Control Account Manager (CAM)
Experience with requirements management tools such as DOORS or JAMA
Experience with writing and managing Risks & Opportunities
Proven experience in project management within the aerospace or defense industry
Demonstrated ability in leading cross-functional teams effectively
Experience with Flight Management software applications
Experience owning work performed at Global Engineering Centers including GETC-India and/or GETC-Puerto Rico
Experience owning work performed by SOW subcontract engineers
Strong foundation in communication skills and team collaboration.
