Act as the lead technical architect and subject matter expert on-site, translating complex business requirements into scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure architectures.
Own the end-to-end infrastructure design process, from initial workshops and problem identification to creating high-level (HLD) and low-level (LLD) design documentation.
Architect and prototype solutions using Red Hat’s portfolio (OpenShift, Ansible, RHEL) to solve complex business and mission challenges.
Provide technical leadership and governance for implementation teams, ensuring solutions are built to specification and align with best practices.
Engage with senior stakeholders (both technical and non-technical) to present design proposals, articulate their value, and define strategic technology roadmaps.
Stay at the forefront of technology, evaluating emerging trends and applying new Red Hat solutions to meet evolving customer needs.
Requirements
Deep, expert-level knowledge of Linux system administration (RHEL preferred) and performance tuning.
Proven architectural and hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes, and the surrounding cloud-native ecosystem.
Strong background in designing and leading enterprise-scale hybrid cloud implementations and performing business impact assessments.
Expertise with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and automation technologies, particularly Red Hat Ansible, Terraform, or similar.
Extensive experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., RHEV/oVirt, VMware) in large-scale enterprise environments.
