Role Overview
- Coordination of hydraulic developments
- Conducting theoretical studies
- Preparation and execution of CFD simulations
- Guidance and support during test-rig measurements
- Evaluation of test results to close the feedback loop between theory and practice
- Further development of testing technologies in close cooperation with our testing experts
- Improvement of hydraulic components with respect to efficiency, cavitation, etc.
- Design of hydraulic components (impellers, volutes, suction elbows, return channels, sealing labyrinths, ...)
- Preparation of reports and technical papers
Requirements
- Technical education (university / university of applied sciences)
- Expertise in hydraulic turbomachinery
- Experience in CFD
- Programming skills (OOP, Python, VBA, etc.)
- Knowledge of measurement technology
- Responsible, open to new challenges and inquisitive
- High level of reliability and integrity, combined with a determined, goal-oriented mindset
