Senior Accountant

Role Overview

• Prepare and post complex journal entries related to inventory and prepaid expenses
• Prepare reconciliations and month-end financial reporting
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP
• Act as the primary liaison with tax consultants for payments and filings
• Compile monthly financial statements and packages for leadership review

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience within a corporate accounting environment
• Strong experience owning general ledger accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, prepaid expenses, and fixed assets
• Significant hands-on experience with revenue accounting and reconciliation
• CPA designation preferred
