Produce routine data reports and summaries that communicate the Foundation’s reach, impact and program progress to internal teams, state and public agencies
Maintain and update performance dashboards and data visualizations for the Foundation, including supporting the preparation of recurring monthly, quarterly and annual Wendy’s Wonderful Kids reports
Analyze program demographics, census, utilization, outcomes and other key data; pull, extract and validate data from multiple sources to support routine reporting and ensure strong data hygiene, integrity and appropriate handling of de-identified data
Apply established statistical tools and reporting methods, using SAS or R, to conduct quantitative analyses, identify trends in program outcomes and fidelity metrics and communicate insights through data storytelling, visualization and presentations for diverse stakeholders
Work closely with the Foundation’s various teams to extract data from multiple systems to generate routine reports measuring a range of key performance indicators; maintain progress updates through the project management system (Asana)
Assist in the preparation, production and dissemination of publications, presentations and research resources ensuring completion within established timelines
Assume responsibility for professional growth, stay current on industry trends, best practices and emerging technologies in data analytics and data management, as well as developments and research within the child welfare community
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
Undergraduate degree required; statistics, data analytics or related degree preferred
4+ years of program management experience with a focus on data analytics
Minimum 2 years of professional experience using R required, including scripting for data analysis and reproducible workflows
Experience with SAS and Python strongly preferred
Experience in child welfare with a focus on evidence-based and data-driven practices preferred
Background and/or experience with statistics or finance preferred
