Manage annual budget preparation by reviewing, analyzing, and consolidating preliminary budgets and presenting recommendations to senior management
Oversee financial reporting, balance sheet accounts, and audits, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations
Lead accounting operations by applying technical accounting knowledge and resolving discrepancies to maintain compliance with statutory requirements
Ensure consistent application of policies and Sarbanes-Oxley Act compliance through thorough review and evaluation of financial statements
Drive execution of business plans by identifying needs, removing obstacles, and measuring performance to achieve objectives
Provide leadership through mentoring, training, and performance management to develop a high-performing team
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field and 4 years’ experience in finance, accounting, or related area OR 6 years’ experience in finance, accounting, or related area
1 year’s supervisory experience
Extensive knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and technical accounting standards
Proven experience managing general ledger reconciliation, month-end closing, and financial statement analysis
Strong expertise in internal controls, compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Act, and regulatory reporting requirements
Demonstrated ability to lead budgeting processes, analyze financial data, and provide actionable recommendations to senior management
Proficiency in accounting software and data analysis to support accurate financial reporting
Effective leadership skills with experience mentoring, coaching, and developing high-performing teams
