About this role
Role Overview
- Post-sales technical support of Arista Datacenter and Campus products and solutions
- Respond to customer product inquiries via telephone or email
- Resolve customer concerns during installation, operation, maintenance, or compatibility matters
- Troubleshoot hardware and software problems and recommend corrective action
- Recreate customer network issues in a lab environment
- Document customer communication and recurring technical issues
Requirements
- Proficiency with TCP/IP and networking technologies
- Knowledge of core networking concepts and protocols
- Server virtualization (VMware ESXi, Microsoft Hyper-V, KVM)
- Networking troubleshooting tools (IXIA, tcpdump, Wireshark)
- Programming/scripting proficiency in C++, Java, Python, Perl, JavaScript, shell
- Linux OS navigation
- Knowledge of Containers (Kubernetes, Docker) and SDN networking concepts
- Minimum education is a BS in a technical field
- Industry certifications preferred
- Prior customer-facing experience preferred
