About this role
Role Overview
- Develop network layouts, ensure compliance, conduct feasibility studies, perform capacity planning, and manage cell site equipment layout and parameter definition.
- Monitor and optimize network performance, troubleshoot issues, analyze RAN data, and perform RF optimization and capacity management.
- Deploy network solutions, conduct testing and validation, manage configurations, and oversee the installation, maintenance, and optimization of wireless RAN systems.
- Diagnose and resolve network issues, including satellite network routing problems.
- Work with stakeholders, manage vendor relationships, provide customer support, and coordinate installation, maintenance, and optimization activities with various teams.
Requirements
- An experienced professional with in-depth knowledge, applying organizational practices to resolve moderately difficult problems.
- Works with independent judgement on expansive projects with minimal supervision, implementing policy changes to improve functions.
- Actions impact efficiency costs, schedules and client relationships.
- Interacts primarily within the department and with General Managers and above across various teams.
- Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) desired: in a Technical or Engineering.
- 2+ years of related experience.
- Certification is required in some areas.
