Senior Risk Manager – Private Markets

Role Overview

• Development of proprietary private markets quantitative models and systems to evaluate risks (python based)
• Perform regular and ad-hoc analysis of private markets data (python, SQL and Excel)
• Contribute to risk frameworks and methodologies, including continuous improvement aligned with best practices and with macroeconomic environment
• Lead risk projects, mentor junior staff, and foster a risk-aware culture
• Preparation of submissions and presentations for firm-wide management and committees
• Communicate to internal committees, management and board of directors

Requirements

• Advanced degree in Quantitative Finance, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field
• 6+ years of professional experience in risk management, including exposure to private markets
• Demonstrated ability to explain risk concepts in a practical, business-oriented way
• Proven ability to generate original ideas and develop new models or processes
• Deep interest in quantitative analysis and strong affinity for working with numbers
• Curiosity about international financial markets and industry mechanisms
• Collaborative working style with demonstrated ability to influence across teams and levels, including senior stakeholders
• Prior experience in computer programming (Python / SQL) and Excel is considered an advantage
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
