Support the International Submarine Program Manager to manage activities, delivery projects and provide technical knowledge within the scope of their program.
Plan and manage work schedules, identify technical and program risks, and contribute to multi-disciplinary teams delivering complex submarine projects.
Prepare and deliver clear briefings and presentations, building strong client relationships and proactively understanding and meeting their needs.
Provide engineering design, construction advice and consultancy, ensuring all work aligns with project scope, quality procedures, and relevant industry standards.
Undertake and support technical assurance activities, reviewing deliverables and guiding others to ensure consistent quality and compliance.
Contribute to program objectives and a high-performing team culture by sharing knowledge, supporting colleagues, and fostering an environment where ideas and concerns are openly communicated.
Requirements
Degree qualified in a Marine Engineering related discipline e.g. Electrical, Mechanical, Naval Architecture, Systems Engineering.
Eligible for a Canadian security clearance.
Minimum 15 years of experience in a marine engineering environment.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a submarine engineering environment.
Experience within complex maritime design programs.
Experience in systems integration, ship construction and/or repair.
Experience leading teams within a maritime program.
Understanding of standards for government and commercial vessels.
Experienced in the Defence industry, preferably in shipbuilding or ship repair.
Willing to work between Canada and deployed sites throughout the APAC Region.
