Role Overview
- Monitor legal developments and update existing legislation to ensure content remains current.
- Add new legislation across publications and prepare supporting annotations as required.
- Prepare prelims and approve final proofs for service issues, bound volumes, and annuals, while supporting the print production team.
- Meet production standards by setting priorities and working to critical deadlines and production schedules across print and online formats.
- Respond to queries from external and internal customers in a timely and professional manner.
- Conduct and participate in quality reviews and audits to support publishing accuracy.
- Identify and implement operational efficiencies that support best practices and publishing milestones.
- Participate in professional development and training, and support other reasonable duties as required.
Requirements
- Demonstrate strong legal research, analytical, and writing skills, with the ability to write clearly within house style guidelines.
- Have an excellent command of the English language.
- Bring a general understanding of XML or HTML.
- Show initiative, self-motivation, and strong problem-solving skills.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers through strong written and verbal interpersonal skills.
- Work collaboratively across teams, including geographically diverse and onshore/offshore teams.
- Stay organised and adapt effectively to changing business demands.
- Learn new software and technical skills quickly
