About this role
Role Overview
- Automation, operation and continuous improvement of development and deployment environments
- Installation and operation of Linux-based systems and container platforms
- Automation of build, test and deployment processes using CI/CD pipelines (preferably GitLab CI/CD)
- Administration and operation of Kubernetes environments and container technologies such as Docker and Docker Compose
- Support for development teams on infrastructure, deployment and operational matters
- Development of scripts and automation tools (e.g., shell scripts, Python).
Requirements
- University degree in Computer Science and/or relevant professional experience in a comparable position
- Experience working with version control systems such as Git
- Basic knowledge of relational databases (preferably Oracle)
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., OpenTelemetry, Grafana) is an advantage
- Experience with security infrastructure (certificates, OAuth2, Keycloak, Vault) is an advantage
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is an advantage
- Completed vocational training as an IT specialist for system integration (Fachinformatiker für Systemintegration) or relevant professional experience in a comparable position
- Independent and responsible working style combined with strong team spirit
- Structured approach to problem solving and willingness to learn new technologies
- Fluent German and English, both written and spoken.
