About this role
Role Overview
- Utilize clinical nursing knowledge to identify relevant clinical data from electronic health record (EHR) documents
- Provide content support to Solventum end-user products by applying Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Natural Language Understanding (NLU) in a clinical setting
- Support informatics and technical requirements for continuous improvement of the design and content of Solventum clinical products
- Educate and coordinate content utilization with other Solventum departments and customers
Requirements
- Associate’s degree or higher from an accredited institution in Nursing (AS RN, BSN RN)
- Six (6) years of clinical practice/experience
- Active RN license
- Master's degree in biomedical or nursing informatics (additional qualification)
- Experience working with clinical terminology standards (e.g. SNOMED CT, LOINC and RxNorm) or in clinical Natural Language Processing (NLP) in healthcare (additional qualification)
- CCDS certification from ACDIS or CDIP certification from AHIMA or Two (2) years CDI equivalency (additional qualification)
