Utilize clinical and analytical data to evaluate product performance and develop strategic pharmacy benefit options tailored to customer needs.
Serve as the pharmacy subject matter expert throughout the development, implementation, and maintenance of drug solutions aligned with enterprise strategy.
Prepare and present pharmacy-related information to employer groups, benefit representatives, brokers, and internal account teams to educate on industry trends and recommend solutions.
Partner with enterprise leaders to identify opportunities that meet market needs and comply with state and federal regulatory requirements.
Collaborate across product, clinical, and operational teams to ensure pharmacy strategies are integrated and responsive to evolving customer and market demands.
Lead initiatives to evolve benefit strategies and pharmacy offerings in response to emerging trends and client needs.
Leverage pharmacy acumen to articulate the clinical and economic value of pharmacy solutions in support of enterprise growth and retention strategies.
Requirements
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) required
Minimum 8 years Clinical experience required
Minimum 6 years Practical experience in a managed care environment
Licensed in Tennessee to practice pharmacy, or eligible for licensure in the state of Tennessee to practice pharmacy
Ability to develop and execute strategic pharmacy benefit designs
Expertise in clinical and regulatory compliance for managed care
Skill in client-facing communication and relationship management
Strength in cross-functional collaboration for enterprise solutions
Leadership in driving innovation and evolving pharmacy strategies

Employees who are required to operate either a BCBST-owned vehicle or a personal or rental vehicle for company business on a routine basis* will be automatically enrolled into the BCBST Driver Safety Program.
The employee will also be required to adhere to the guidelines set forth through the program.
