The Clinician applies psychological/counseling principles in assessment, clinical interventions, research, training, case management, consultation, supervision of non-licensed staff, and program development.
Involvement in integrating behavioral health services into a primary care setting.
Responsibilities include diagnosis, evaluation, treatment, and discharge planning.
Provide individual, group, child, and family therapy focusing on various interventions including short-term problem-solving therapy, crisis intervention, substance abuse treatment, and other evidence-based practices.
Collaborate with the patient to define treatment goals and measures of success by utilizing evidence-based outcome measures.
Attend conferences/workshops concerning mental health treatment and may be involved in research studies or multidisciplinary projects.
Requirements
Professional Licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist by the California Behavioral Science Board
Master's level degree required
Minimum 1 year of experience working with children
Minimum one year of clinical experience for LCSW
A minimum requirement of a valid BLS certification or higher, following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines
Bilingual English/Spanish or English and other predominant language of the population served preferred
