Support electrical integration of new Data Processing and Display System with existing ADATS infrastructure, ensuring seamless interface and compliance with system specifications.
Contribute to electrical system modifications for console upgrades and communications infrastructure, working with state-of-the-art equipment.
Participate in system verification activities, including Site Acceptance Test electrical systems.
Prepare technical documentation for electrical modifications and support configuration management activities.
Collaborate with project teams and subcontractors to ensure successful implementation while maintaining operational excellence.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in engineering with a significant component of Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in electrical design and system modification.
Advanced knowledge of electrical design and practical experience with electrical system changes.
Demonstrated experience with electrical and data interface standards (RS232, RS422, USB, Ethernet).
Strong understanding of AS3000 Wiring Rules and military standard electrical component selection.
Desirable: Experience in defence projects within a Systems Engineering environment.
Professional membership with Engineers Australia, IEE, or IEEE.
Successful candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Baseline Security clearance as needed.
