Contribute to the development of innovative mechanical systems within a fast-evolving engineering environment focused on airborne renewable energy technologies.
Design, prototype, test, and continuously improve lightweight mechanical systems and airborne power transmission technologies.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams from early engineering concepts through prototyping, manufacturing, integration, and validation phases.
Work on complex mechanical systems involving rotating machinery, pulleys, gearboxes, cable-driven systems, and lightweight airborne mechanisms.
Manage collaborations with suppliers and manufacturing partners, and contribute to knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team.
Requirements
Master’s degree, engineering degree, or PhD in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field.
More than 7 years of experience in mechanical engineering within highly technical, performance-driven environments such as automotive, aerospace, robotics, airborne systems, industrial equipment, or advanced mechanical product development.
Strong expertise in CAD design, mechanical prototyping, assembly, testing, and product development, with the ability to progress from engineering concepts and preliminary calculations to functional, manufacturable mechanical systems.
Experience with supplier coordination, sourcing activities, BOM creation, manufacturing processes, industrialization, and make/buy decisions is a plus.
Fluent in English or French.
