Provide supplementary instruction (tutoring) to students enrolled in the Anatomy Pre-Professional track of the MS in Medical Sciences
Proctor exams
Grade assignments
Maintain course files and materials in Canvas
Develop new education content for online and on ground courses
Instruct students with organization of the online courses
Serve as an initial interface for the students regarding course technology implementation problems
Serve as an interface for any course content related questions
Assist course instructors in preparing and delivering course quizzes and examinations
Assist in the grading of discussion boards, report assignments, student journal presentations and Power Point projects
Provide weekly lab instruction for the Anatomy masters concentration students
Requirements
high school diploma or equivalent
four years of experience in office or administrative positions
Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.
Completion of a Master’s Degree in Basic Medical Science with experience in Human cadaver laboratory instruction prior to the beginning of the fall semester.
Successful completion and 4.0 GPA (or near 4.0) in GMS 6605 (Basic Human Gross Anatomy), 6609 (Anatomy lab dissection), 6630 (Basic Histology), GMS 6610 (Neuroanatomy) and GMS 6111 (Basic Human Pathology) or equivalent.
