Create, develop and implement strategic business plans and target account lists to facilitate the attainment of goals and quotas
Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to close
Identify, evaluate, and qualify new sales opportunities and turn them into long-term partnerships
Attend industry conferences and events to network and promote the company
Present products and services to prospective clients and partners
Prepare detailed proposals in collaboration with solution architects and senior management
Negotiate pricing and other business terms agreements as part of deal closing
Provide professional post-sale support to ensure customer success
Remain in frequent contact with your clients to understand their evolving needs, identify follow-on opportunities, and grow the value of accounts over time
Keep comprehensive records using Salesforce, and publish regular updates through email and Slack to provide senior management and colleagues with clear visibility into your sales pipeline
Requirements
5+ years of experience as a Sales Account Executive, Business Development Executive, or in a similar sales/customer service role, preferably in the healthcare industry
Proven track record of conducing market research, driving sales growth, and negotiation
Strong understanding of the healthcare IT market, including trends, challenges and opportunities
Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build strategic relationships
Organizational and time-management skills; proven ability to stay productive and accountable in an environment that does not micro-manage
Strong business acumen, including the ability to qualify opportunities, identify decision makers, articulate pain points and their potential remedies, and negotiate pricing
Enthusiastic, highly motivated and results-oriented personality with genuine passion for the subject matter of our work
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, healthcare administration, or relevant fields
