Participates in the build, installation, implementation, testing, validation, monitoring and maintenance of application software/interfaces.
Applies and maintains standards/regulatory requirements (including but not limited to CLIA, CAP, DNV, CMS) to system design.
Makes recommendations that are in line with and support best practices.
Acts as a resource and mentor to others.
Troubleshoots, diagnoses and remedies system software/hardware problems.
Coordinates problem resolution with internal and external technical support personnel.
Assists both internal and external customers in finding solutions to their needs related to the LIS, instrumentation and interfacing with enterprise wide applications.
Recommends process/procedural changes based on application functionality.
Coordinates with key user representatives to develop project task plans, timelines and schedules.
Requirements
Associate's Degree: Computer Science
Associate's Degree: Clinical Laboratory Science
Associate's Degree: Related Field
