Role Overview
- Ensure international trade operations comply with complex regulatory requirements
- Drive trade compliance excellence through policy implementation, transaction monitoring, and process improvements
- Manage day-to-day export activities including classification, screening, licensing and documentation
- Provide guidance to internal teams
Requirements
- 2 years of experience in trade compliance, customs operations or related field
- Additional relevant certifications preferred (e.g., Certified Customs Specialist, Certified Trade Compliance Specialist)
- Expert knowledge of export regulations, customs procedures and trade agreements
- Proficient in HTS and ECCN classification and licensing requirements
- Proficiency with trade compliance systems and Microsoft Office suite
- Experience with global trade management software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Experience conducting compliance audits and implementing corrective actions
- Willingness to travel up to 10-15% as needed
