Review SEC filings, proxy statements, and other meeting materials to capture key facts and support governance analysis
Maintain governance-related data and perform quality checks to ensure records are complete and accurate
Apply documented client policy instructions to straightforward and moderately complex meeting items, escalating exceptions as needed
Support routine research and reporting related to proxy voting activity and governance trends
Pull data from internal systems, organize and validate information in Excel, and assist in preparing team summaries and outputs
Collaborate with teammates to resolve data or process issues and ensure timely completion of assigned work
Deliver accurate, consistent work while continuing to build subject matter knowledge and confidence in the role

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Public Policy, Data Analytics, Sustainability, or a related field preferred
Equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience will also be considered
Approximately 1 year of relevant experience in corporate governance, proxy voting, research, financial markets, data operations, or a related area preferred
Internship or early-career experience involving document review, data analysis, reporting, or operations is helpful
Interested in financial markets, corporate governance, and the mechanics of proxy voting
Be able to follow process, produce reliable work, and continue developing skills under the guidance of senior analysts and managers
Be able to manage recurring tasks, prioritize deadlines, and maintain quality during high-volume periods
Be comfortable reviewing detailed documents and working through structured assignments with care and accuracy
Be organized, detail-oriented, and responsive to feedback and coaching
Exercise sound judgment in routine situations and know when to raise questions or escalate issues
Communicate clearly and work effectively in a collaborative team environment
Comfortable using Excel and learning internal systems, tools, and databases
Familiarity with large data sets, data quality checks, or introductory Python is a plus, but not required.
