Tech Lead Manager – Full Stack

Role Overview

• Own architecture and delivery of full-stack features from ReactJS/TypeScript UIs to backend services, APIs, and distributed data pipelines
• Design and build scalable data processing pipelines (batch and streaming) and distributed backend systems using PostgreSQL, Redis, and Kubernetes.
• Set the technical bar across the team: lead architecture reviews, own code quality and performance standards, drive CI/CD and TDD practices, and stay hands-on through the full software lifecycle including on-call.
• Manage, mentor, and grow a team of engineers.
• Own hiring, career development, and day-to-day delivery.
• Partner with Product and Design to scope technical plans and communicate progress, risks, and trade-offs to leadership.

Requirements

• 7+ years of hands-on software engineering with a strong full-stack background
• modern frontend (React, TypeScript) and backend (Ruby, Python, or Node.js)
• proven experience designing and operating distributed systems at scale with RESTful APIs, PostgreSQL, and cloud-native architecture
• 2+ years of engineering management or tech lead experience
• Solid engineering fundamentals across the full lifecycle
• Deep frontend fluency in component architecture, state management, performance, and accessibility.
• Strong advantage: React Native for mobile development; experience with Redis, Apache Pinot, or real-time analytics infrastructure; background in AI/ML systems or data pipeline orchestration; early-stage startup experience from Seed to Series C.
