Develop innovative, on-brand packaging concepts, layouts, and structural designs that differentiate our products across professional salons, retail, and DTC
Create physical and digital mockups, 3D renderings, and prototypes to visualize designs and test functionality, unboxing experiences, and shelf appeal
Translate design intent into flawless, print-ready mechanicals. Ensure precise dielines, typography, color accuracy, and compliance with industry and regulatory labeling standards
Research and recommend premium, sustainable materials, coatings, finishes, and manufacturing techniques to minimize environmental impact
Partner with Sourcing, Product Development, and external manufacturing vendors to ensure design feasibility, structural integrity, and production quality
Provide creative direction and constructive feedback to junior designers, fostering a culture of high-quality craftsmanship and creative rigor
Conceptualize and design in-store visual assets, optimizing product positioning to maximize shelf presence, consumer engagement, and alignment with modern retail environments
Develop structural layouts and physical mock-ups for product displays, custom glorifier builds, and seasonal promotional activations to elevate physical storytelling at the point of sale
Formulate precise structural footprints and dimensional specifications ensuring secondary packaging achieves a seamless fit and commanding presence across diverse global retail shelves
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or a related field
7–10 years of professional experience in packaging design, preferably within Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), luxury, or lifestyle brands with a minimum of 3 years of experience designing for retail environments, with a strong understanding of in-store visibility, shelf merchandising constraints, and point-of-sale consumer behavior
Design Prowess that brings a stellar portfolio showcasing exceptional typography, layout, color theory, and a strong understanding of 3D forms
Deep understanding of printing processes (offset, flexography, digital), dielines, folding cartons, corrugate, and rigid box structures
Outstanding presentation and communication skills, with the ability to confidently pitch ideas and gracefully defend design decisions to internal stakeholders
Structural Display Design: Proven track record of developing functional, eye-catching structural concepts for retail displays, secondary packaging, and bespoke product glorifiers
Three-Dimensional Spatial Awareness: Strong proficiency in evaluating and execution of dimensional limits, footprint constraints, and structural fit requirements across diverse physical retail fixtures
