Assist in documenting business processes and workflows, including supply chain activities such as forecasting, inventory management, fulfilment, and distribution, to identify improvement opportunities.
Provide support to senior business analysts and project managers across the project lifecycle, including supply chain‑focused initiatives and operational improvement programmes.
Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, supply chain teams, and technical delivery teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment of requirements.
Assist in the implementation of business and supply chain solutions such as; planning tools, inventory optimisation initiatives, logistics improvements, or operational reporting, ensuring solutions meet business needs.
Create and maintain reports that track project progress, performance metrics, and other key indicators. These reports help in making informed business decisions.
Support the Engagement Manager across the consulting engagement lifecycle (planning, budgeting, mobilisation, deliverable design, content development, risk management/escalation) to ensure successful and on‑time engagement or project delivery, including engagements focused on supply chain transformation.
Draw on experience to contribute to project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with the client and consulting team, including the definition of supply chain or operational improvement initiatives.
Develop artefacts that support the presentation of solutions and plans using standard Microsoft Office applications, including analysis and visuals related to supply chain performance and processes.
Deliver tasks to the quality standards and processes of the client and Squarcle, ensuring that work is consistent and in accordance with the Squarcle quality assurance process.
Identify and pursue follow‑on work and new business opportunities, including potential engagements in supply chain optimisation, operational improvement, and logistics transformation.
Support the sales and bid processes assigned by the Executive Director of Growth and Head of Consulting, contributing relevant supply chain insights where applicable.
Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and the competitive landscape, including developments in supply chain digitalisation, automation, and resilience.
Provide guidance for more junior consultants, including mentoring those involved in supply chain or operations‑related analysis, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Mentor and develop consultants, assisting in their professional growth, including understanding supply chain fundamentals where relevant.
Foster knowledge sharing and best practices within the consulting team, particularly in areas related to operations and supply chain management.
Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies relevant to the consulting domain, including supply chain innovation, advanced analytics, and operational excellence.
Participate in professional development activities, such as attending seminars or pursuing relevant certifications (e.g., supply chain, logistics, or operations management).
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (2:1) or higher in a related subject (e.g. Business Analytics, Business Management, Business Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or Logistics) or equivalent experience in a related role.
Experience of working as a Business Analyst
Well-developed core consulting skills e.g. research, analysis, presentation, and attention to detail

Aptitude to grasp new concepts and produce effective outputs/results
Exceptional problem-solving skills and a growth mindset – an analytical, innovative, and creative approach

Knowledge of the Microsoft Suite; specifically, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
