About this role

Maintenance, operation and redesign of in-house developed software applications
Full web development (frontend/backend) on hardware and software infrastructure
Software design and architecture (including implementation and testing)
Development and maintenance of databases
Preparation of requirements analyses
Testing and maintenance of websites
Technical customization of TYPO3 websites in collaboration with the central IT department
Documentation and quality assurance
Supporting users as part of second-level support

Completed vocational training or degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
Several years of practical experience in web development
Knowledge of web programming (HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript) and experience with JavaScript libraries, especially React
Experience with databases (e.g., PostgreSQL)
Experience with code versioning and CI/CD systems (e.g., GitLab)
Basic knowledge of administering Linux servers
Experience working with and customizing content management systems (ideally TYPO3 including extensions, or similar)
Very good German (at least C1) and good English skills (at least B2), both written and spoken
