Support the execution of project and portfolio financings, including debt, tax equity, structured capital, and other funding solutions, as well as asset and portfolio transactions across the investment lifecycle.
Develop, maintain, and validate financial models for project valuation, partnership structures, debt sizing, tax equity, underwriting, and financing scenarios to support investment and capital allocation decisions.
Lead transaction management activities, including due diligence coordination, data room administration, information request tracking, document review, and closing process execution.
Prepare investment committee materials, valuation analyses, financing comparisons, transaction summaries, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Partner cross-functionally with Development, Engineering, Legal, Accounting, Tax, EPC, and Asset Management teams to evaluate opportunities, validate assumptions, and drive transaction execution.
Conduct market, financing, and comparable transaction analyses while supporting the development and standardization of internal models, diligence processes, reporting tools, and capital strategy initiatives.
Requirements
3–6 years of experience in project finance, risk-adjusted valuation, project management, or energy sector roles.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a quantitative field.
Advanced Excel skills for project finance modeling; comfort with structured sensitivity analysis.
VBA is a plus.
High attention-to-detail and organization skills with the ability to manage multiple deal workstreams against deadlines.
Experience with distributed generation solar and BESS modeling, including degradation and augmentation basics.
Familiarity with tax-equity, sponsor equity and leverage concepts.
Python/VBA for automation; Aurora/energy-yield tools familiarity
