Support, develop, and implement Niagara based systems, programs, and graphics to meet client or design requirements
Troubleshoot and optimize existing programs as needed
Design BAS systems (including flow and wiring diagrams, bill of materials, and sequence of operations) based on customer requirements or MEP design documentation
Develop engineered submittal and O&M drawings and documentation using industry standard CAD programs
Oversee installing subcontractors for scope and quality control
Perform point-to-point verification and troubleshooting
Perform BAS startup and commissioning activities to deliver a complete system to the client
Design, implement and troubleshoot OT networks as they relate to BAS and other building technologies
Provide technical support to District Service personnel and clients for building controls applications
Assist in resolving complex technical issues and provide guidance on system integration
Create and maintain detailed documentation for control programs, system designs, and library updates
Develop and deliver training programs for Daikin BAS engineers, technicians, and other team members to enhance their understanding of Niagara 4 programming, OT networking, building automation systems and their implementation and troubleshooting
Conduct regular training sessions both in-person and remotely
Requirements
5+ years related experience including BAS
Preferable experience in design, programming, graphics, implementation, and troubleshooting
Bachelor’s degree
Proven experience in programming building automation control applications
Strong knowledge of Commercial and Industrial HVAC systems and their operation
Familiarity with building automation protocols (BACnet, Modbus, etc.)
Ability to travel as needed to support District Service offices
Demonstrated expertise in BAS design, programming, graphics creation, startup, and troubleshooting
Tridium Niagara based controls, Lynxspring, or similar open protocol systems and BAS architecture experience strongly preferred.
