Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet or exceed revenue targets.
Conduct VGM Services demonstrations and presentations tailored to HME industry.
Recommend and suggest suitable products or services that positively impact member business goals.
Understand client challenges and position products/services as solutions that improve patient outcomes, operational efficiency, or compliance.
Help to maintain departmental databases and spreadsheets for tracking purposes, including accruing status and resourcing information and monthly reports.
Coordinate ongoing education on current issues relevant to members (i.e. webinars, presentations, web-based courses).
Manage an email ListServ to allow for peer-to-peer networking.
Answer phone and email inquiries timely and accurately.
Coordinate travel for field visits.
Stay informed about healthcare industry trends, regulations, and competitive landscape.
Provide insights to internal teams to help shape product development and positioning.
Author timely communications (i.e. eNewsletter) to keep members informed of the latest industry news, events and initiatives.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
1-2 years sales experience
Multi-year experience in the healthcare profession, preferably HME
Sound interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills required for the purpose of developing and delivering presentations as well as creating, composing and editing written materials.
Strong organization, planning, and analytical skills.
Proven ability to build relationships, rapport, and respect for customers.
