Expand and strategically develop our customer base in the automotive sector (OEMs and suppliers), including planning, executing and monitoring your sales targets
Identify new projects and business opportunities with existing and prospective customers
Provide application-focused consulting to customers and prospects on our adhesive and sealant solutions — technically sound and sales-oriented
Take responsibility for the entire sales process: from the development phase through to series start (SOP)
Lead negotiations, prepare proposals and conclude framework agreements
Work closely with application engineering, product management and marketing
Monitor market, technology and competitor trends to identify new sales opportunities
Regular customer visits, participation in project meetings and attendance/exhibition at industry events and trade fairs
Requirements
Sales professional with several years of relevant experience in the B2B automotive environment (OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers)
Degree or comparable qualification in a technical or commercial field
Technical affinity with the ability to understand complex production processes
Knowledge of adhesives, sealants, chemistry or related technical products is a plus
Confident presence, strong negotiation skills and enjoyment of networking
Structured, independent and solution-oriented working style
High willingness to travel and very good German and business-fluent English skills
