Develop and implement program quality plans, programs, and procedures using statistical quality control statistics, lean manufacturing concepts, and six-sigma tools and analyses
Ensures that performance and quality products conform to established company and regulatory standards
Reviews, analyzes and reports on quality discrepancies related to assembly, process, mechanical, electrical and electro-mechanical systems
Investigates problems and develops disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies
Interfaces with manufacturing, engineering, customer, vendor and subcontractor representatives to ensure requirements are met
Recommends corrective actions, dispositions and modifications
Individuals will work within the NNS Plant infrastructure by working with system owners to improve functionality at NNS
Focus on continuous improvement for processes associated with NNS infrastructure
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of relevant exempt experience
Master's Degree and 4 year of relevant professional experience
NNS Apprentice School graduate
Navy Nuclear Power School (NNPS) graduate
Associate's Degree or other formal 2 year program and 2 years of relevant exempt experience or 4 years of relevant non-exempt experience
Military Paygrade E-5 or above military experience
High School/GED and 4 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant exempt experience
High School/GED and 8 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant non-exempt experience
Experience working in a high pace, team environment
Experience in data analysis, including ability to generate custom data pulls and reports from PowerBi and SAP
Experience with process improvement tools and techniques and an ability to coordinate improvement efforts
Experience working with Regulatory agencies (NAVSEA/SUPSHIP etc)
