Role Overview
- Handling Directors & Officers Liability Claims
- Identifying, investigating, and resolving coverage issues
- Providing clear communication of policy coverage issues to various stakeholders
- Coordinating with counsel and insureds
- Exploring technology and strategic claims resolutions
- Analyzing and budgeting litigation of claims
- Making presentations to management as necessary
- Managing reserve adjustments and payments
Requirements
- Claims and/or litigation experience
- Financial Lines claims experience preferred
- Ability to analyze policies of insurance and legal documents
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office)
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required
- JD highly preferred
