About this role
Role Overview
Develop solutions to the level of quality defined by the requirements in adherence with standards, methodology and internal controls
Understand and identify system dependencies
Understand functionality, integration points and impacts of proposed changes to supporting applications
Provide appropriate documentation for design decisions, estimating assumptions, code modules, and performance metrics
Define, conduct, and participate in testing (i.e. unit, system integration)
Collaborate with others regarding effectiveness of systems flow, data usage and manual or automated processes to verify requirements
Ensure software development meets standards for programming, design, performance, quality, and security
Participate in team activities and take on additional work tasks to help the team accomplish the desired outcome or goals
Create system documentation
Requirements
2+ years of experience in product upgrades and GW Cloud migration
Experience in performing unit testing, integration testing, and supporting QA efforts for application releases
Demonstrated experience using relational databases and standard query language (SQL)
Experience with systems development life cycle (SDLC)
3+ years of experience collaborating with business analysts, product owners, and partners to gather and refine requirements
Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline development and deployment automation
Conduct code reviews to ensure quality
Proficiency in Guidewire development (Gosu)
Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and tools
