Role Overview
- Lead risk control assessment, evaluation, and consulting on complex issues
- Implement and administer Equipment Breakdown Risk Engineering activities
- Manage risk assessments and evaluations for new and renewal business
- Collaborate with Underwriting for major Equipment Breakdown client accounts
- Conduct claims investigations of high-hazard risks when required
Requirements
- University/College Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Technology, or Science (Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil)
- Minimum of 7–10 years of relevant field inspection and assessment experience
- Ideally holds or is working toward an Ontario Certificate of Competency for the inspection of boilers and pressure vessels
- Strong knowledge of applicable risk control engineering standards
- Ability to climb ladders of varying heights and enter confined spaces
