Provides leadership, direction, and consulting to managers across APAC Distribution encompassing all investment products and institutional clients serviced
Responsible for the planning, implementation and monitoring of compliance requirements, and establishing and executing programs to measure, mitigate and monitor risk
Coordinates with resources outside of APAC Distribution to design and deliver effective compliance and risk management programs and reporting
Acts as the Compliance Coordinator for APAC Distribution and manages the day-to-day compliance activities

Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and 8+ years of total relevant work experience
Knowledgeable on country specific rules and regulations for all APAC regions, in particular, in key markets such as China, Japan, Southeast Asia, and Australia
Ability to understand complex and multi-jurisdictional regulatory requirements and maintain a broad understanding of various processes across APAC
Knowledge of APAC regulatory framework with direct relevant experience
Working knowledge of compliance within the investment industry including frameworks, tools, and concepts
Prior global asset management experience supporting institutional and intermediary clients and knowledge of Asset Management products and vehicles, e.g., separate accounts, SICAVs, private funds, exchange-traded funds, AUTs, ITMs, etc.
Fluency in Japanese or Mandarin (spoken) and traditional and simplified Chinese (written) – other regional language skills would be advantageous too
