Work on advanced security solutions, contributing to end-to-end security thinking and executing complex implementations.
Engage directly with customers to build trust, lead solution discussions, and support Executive Briefings and QBRs.
Develop consulting recommendations that align customer needs with future-state outcomes, adhering to Cisco Security Framework (CSF) principles.
Guide deployments using AI tools, telemetry, and customer feedback to ensure smooth migrations and feature enablement.
Build design documentations, including High-Level Design (HLD), Low-Level Design (LLD), Implementation/Change Management Plans, and build customer simulations in lab to deliver scalable and resilient solutions.
Integrate security into broader Cisco solutions across domains (e.g., SASE, XDR, Zero Trust) and explain complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.
Proactively analyze the competitive landscape to identify opportunities for innovation and AI-driven transformation.
Develop project scopes aligned to customer security goals with increasing independence.
Mentor peers on security solutions and customer engagement best practices while collaborating with TAC and other stakeholders on case resolution.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
5-7 years of hands-on experience in deploying, managing and troubleshooting any one Cisco Security solutions (e.g., Firewalls, Cisco-ISE, Cisco Secure Workload, Email and Web Security, Secure Network Analytics).
Professional level (CCNP) certification expected.
Demonstrated expertise across a broad range of established and emerging security technologies (e.g., SASE, XDR, Zero Trust).
Deep expertise in at least one security domain and its integration with Cisco and third-party architectures.
Working knowledge of security automation, threat modeling, and DevSecOps practices to optimize delivery and reduce risk.
Proven ability to effectively integrate AI into daily workflows to automate tasks and refine outputs for quality.
Strong consulting skills, including the ability to negotiate schedule changes, manage expectations, and act as a trusted advisor.
Experience in gathering lessons learned and applying reusable patterns across Cisco and third-party systems to enhance knowledge management.
Demonstrated ability to support adoption by identifying gaps in feature usage and recommending optimization strategies.
Knowledge about Security Reference Architecture experience (e.g., ZTNA, NIST, 3GPP, ETSI, AI Infrastructure)
