Provides direction, guidance and technical assistance for workforce programs
Conducts research of federal and state statutes, regulations and other governing authorities to develop, review and update programmatic policies, procedures, guidelines, and state and local plans
Evaluates the impact of statutes, regulations and governing authorities on operations, identifies potential problems, and recommends appropriate action
Provides direction and guidance to agency management, program administrator and staff in the management and operation of programs and responsibilities
Consults with management on the development and implementation of training and technical assistance to improve workforce program outcomes
Investigates, assesses, analyzes, and makes recommendation(s) to resolve issues and problems presented by management staff
Consults with staff members to develop solutions for programmatic operational problems
Participates in quality assurance reviews, assists with or prepares reports, and follows up on concerns
Provides feedback on updating quality assurance tools, as needed
Participates in data validation on site reviews, as needed
Requirements
Level 2 security background screening required
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or four years of equivalent work experience relevant to this position
At least two years of experience researching federal and state statutes, regulations and other governing authorities for a state or federal-funded program
At least two years of experience providing training and technical assistance for a state or federal-funded program
At least two years of experience working with workforce programs
Professional writing experience
Florida Certified Contract Manager (FCCM) certification is a plus
