Role Overview
- Join a team building a scalable data ingestion system for TomTom's Orbis Maps platform
- Design and develop components that process large-scale geospatial data efficiently
- Take ownership of key parts of the map data pipeline
- Directly impact the quality, reliability, and scalability of map data
- Work primarily with Java and Scala, leveraging Databricks where needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Advanced professional software development experience in Java (preferred) or another modern programming language
- Experience with the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, and testing
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a team and take ownership of deliverables
