Territory Sales Manager – Specialty

Role Overview

• Achieving and exceeding sales objectives and growing market share.
• Managing the assigned territory.
• Establishing deep and meaningful business relationships based on clinical and market dynamic expertise.
• Increasing market share by closing new business in both new and existing accounts prioritized on market potential.
• Supporting sales results with an exceptional level of clinical expertise and understanding of the evolving healthcare landscape.
• Assessing and analyzing product/competitor trends and market dynamics.
• Collaborating and providing candid communication with team members.
• Traveling throughout the territory, which may include overnight stays and meetings extending over several days.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
• 5+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience is required.
• Demonstrated mastery of product and disease state knowledge.
• Proven track record of top-ranked sales performance (ideally in the top 25% of the nation).
• Experience working within Urology preferred.
• Experience with a pharmaceutical launch preferred.
• Knowledge of market access formulary positioning, including pull-through and push-through preferred.
• Ability to drive a car and possess a valid and current driver’s license.
• Ability and willingness to travel overnight as needed (~20%).
