Requirements
Licensed Certified Pharmacy Technician credentialed and in good standing with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy prior to hire date
Minimum 5 years of retail or hospital experience as a Certified Pharmacy Technician
High School Diploma or equivalency
Medication reconciliation experience
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience with patient financial assistance programs and patient advocacy
Bilingual (Spanish proficiency)
Ability to understand and navigate EMR platforms

Interviews patients and/or family members to obtain and document information about newly prescribed medications and adherence to their documented regimen along with documentation of reported side effects or nonadherence.
Triages medication information from client and relays to appropriate clinical staff
Develops workflow to achieve efficiency within the clinic system
Collaborates with Pharmacy Director to perform data collection and develop metrics to demonstrate outcomes and other tasks as requested
Participates in special projects and performing other duties as assigned
