Design engineering solutions for mechanical and electro-mechanical hardware based on established engineering principles in accordance with development technology practices and guidelines.
Provide Tier 4 Engineering support, investigate hardware related field and factory issues and determine root cause(s).
Use continuous improvement methodology to continuously improve performance, reliability and quality while reducing cost.
Serve as HP technical interface for strategic suppliers.
Work on cross-functional, multi-disciplinary project teams with other engineers and development partners to develop reliable, cost effective and high-quality solutions for highly-complex products.
Collaborate and communicate with management, internal and outsourced development partners, and other key stakeholders regarding design status, project progress, and issue resolution.
Requirements
Bachelor’s (undergraduate) degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
Typically has 3 to 5 years of engineering experience
